This gown began as an authentic antique 1920s mesh dress. While I loved the silhouette and movement, I envisioned something entirely new. After months of development, I hand-selected every floral embellishment before working closely with my seamstress to completely transform the piece. Every appliqué was intentionally placed to create dimension, movement, and a soft botanical finish while preserving the integrity of the antique garment beneath. The result is the very first one-of-one couture design created under Mondays With Margaret—a piece that exists nowhere else. Designed to be collected, worn, and treasured.
